Abstract

This study explores the multifaceted impact of Nigerian leadership, security challenges, and social stability on the deaf community in Onitsha amidst the backdrop of the country’s current economic state. Nigeria, a nation marked by diverse socio-political dynamics, faces ongoing challenges that deeply affect its citizens, including marginalized groups like the deaf community. Central to this study is an examination of how governmental leadership, characterized by governance effectiveness and policy implementation, influences the security environment and social stability in Onitsha. The research underscores the critical linkages between leadership decisions, socio-economic conditions, and their ramifications for the deaf community’s well-being and integration. Moreover, the study investigates the security landscape in Onitsha, highlighting its implications for the safety and daily lives of the deaf population.
